Children’s Programs

Children are most affected by domestic and sexual violence.  The Women’s Center offers counseling and support groups for children and teens who have witnessed family violence or who have been the victim of sexual abuse/assault.  The programs are available to children and teens whether or not they are staying in our emergency shelter. The Women’s Center has staff that specialize in working with children and youth to undo the harm caused by the traumatic effects of violence and abuse.

For more information please call 262.547.4600.

A list of our current support groups is available here.

In an effort to strengthen services to runaway, homeless, exploited, and at-risk youth, The Women’s Center has partnered with the National Runaway Safeline (NRS). If you are a young adult looking for support, you can also reach out to the NRS. More information about their services can be found at: https://www.1800runaway.org/
