ABOUT RENEE PRATT
Renee joined The Women’s Center in August of 2014 as an undergraduate intern, and was soon hired as the agency’s Children’s Advocate, a role they held for five years before being promoted to Lead Shelter Advocate in November of 2019. As Children’s Advocate, they worked with families in The Women’s Center’s Shelter and Transitional Living Program to support them during their stay, identifying goals with parents and families, providing case management by assisting with child behavior modification, and instructing on positive parenting styles and techniques. Additionally, they planned and organized special family events, field trips, and birthday and holiday celebrations, as well as coordinated with other local agencies to provide timely and accurate referrals for clients. Renee has two Bachelor degrees from Marquette University in Criminology and Law Studies, and Social Welfare and Justice.
