Available Positions

Director of Development and Communications

Position: Full-time, some evenings and weekends required

Summary/Objective: To provide essential leadership for planning and coordinating the engagement, cultivation and retention of donors, including individuals, foundations, corporations et al through annual appeals, special events, major gifts, and planned and capital giving in partnership with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, volunteers and staff. Major gift strategy and solicitation will be a major focus. This position will draft much of the agency communications as well.

Administrative Coordinator

Position: Full-time, some evenings and weekends required

Summary/Objective: To provide administrative support to the Executive Director and operations leadership team that consists of the Director of Finance, Director of Human Resources, and the Operations Director.

Dual Domestic Abuse/Sexual Violence Advocate

Position: Full-time, some evenings and weekends required

Summary/Objective: To provide advocacy and supportive services to any survivor of domestic abuse, sexual violence, child abuse or human trafficking.

Shelter Advocate

Position: Full Time, 2nd shift 32 hours (Monday – Thursday 3pm – 11pm)

Summary/Objective: To provide 2nd shift coverage for the domestic violence shelter and the 24-hour Hotline, and advocacy and support to shelter residents.

Shelter Advocate

Position: Fulltime, 3rd Shift, weekend

Summary/Objective: To provide 3rd shift coverage for the domestic violence shelter and the 24-hour Hotline, and advocacy and support to shelter residents.

Childcare Specialist

Position: 24 hours per week, evenings required

Summary/Objective: To provide on-site childcare services.

Internship Opportunities

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be hosting winter interns for 2021. Interested students are encouraged to apply for the 2021 summer internship.

Undergraduate internships are offered year round. They are designed for students who are interested in learning about the full scope of our agency and include duties such as donation sorting, client childcare, front desk support, and clerical/administrative tasks.

Please note: We do not offer master level internships.
