Support Groups

All groups are free and free onsite childcare may be available by appointment.

Domestic Violence Support Groups and Workshops:

Wednesday Workshops
Come join other survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and abuse to learn, share and grow beyond abuse. Each session will feature instruction on a healing topic and include time to share and process with other group members. Attend one or all of these bi-monthly meetings.

Sexual Assault and Abuse Support Groups and Workshops:

Survive and Thrive
This is a four week support group for young women ages 13-17 who have been sexually abused or assaulted. This group will create an opportunity for young women to express themselves in a safe, supportive environment and to feel heard and validated. Group topics may include, but are not limited to: safety, coping skills, self-esteem and body image, healing from abuse, healthy relationships, positive change, and creating a healthy support system. Light snacks will be available.

This group will meet on Tuesdays from 4-5 pm, July 11 through August 1.

Family Support:

Handling Anger Within the Family
This is a three week program for parents who want to develop effective ways of managing anger and building healthy, positive family relationships. Supportive, age appropriate sessions for youth will be held at the same time as the adult class and will focus on providing children with the skills they need to handle anger in healthy ways. Parents who wish to have their child(ren) participate must first speak with the children’s group facilitator. To register, please call Hilary or Anna at 262-547-4600.

This program meets on Mondays from 6:00-7:30pm on July 17, July 24, and July 31.
